![]() ![]() Inotifywait -m -r -format '%w%f' -e create "$DIR" | while read -r FILE Here is the command that i'm running from the command line (successfully) and from the bash script (unsuccessfully): ffmpeg -i /home/fn/audio/Example\ Folder/6058255.wav -acodec mp3 /home/fn/audio/Example\ Folder/6058255.mp3 Now, copy/paste and run this command to make brew command available inside the Terminal: echo 'eval '(/opt/homebrew/bin/brew shellenv)'' > /.zprofile Copy and paste the following command: brew install ffmpeg Done You can now use ffmpeg. ![]() The conversion works when I run it from the command line but it doesn't work when it is run from a bash script. Also, even if what you have typed was directed to a bash start-up file it wouldn't affect where bash would find brew since you're prepending to the original path and not overwriting it. I am converting wav files to mp3 files using ffmpeg. 3 Answers Sorted by: 2 Restarting the terminal should have solved the problem since you didn't append what you have typed to a bash start-up file.
